The hotel is located on the East of Alban Square in Aberaeron. Alban Square is a large green in the middle of town. From the main A487 road through town turn right (if coming from the south) or left (if coming from the north) up the side of the square. Please note that there is a one way system in operation
There are several parking spaces to the front of the hotel, however resident car parking is also available to the rear of the building. This is accessed via a drive way to the right of the hotel.
The main entrance takes you into the hallway. The Welsh Cob bar can be found to the right hand side. Reception is located to the left.
One of our guest bedrooms has been specifically designed for wheelchair access. Access to this room is from a door directly from the car park at the rear of the hotel.
The hotel has 13 bedrooms. All rooms have wall mounted remote controlled flat screen televisions, cordless kettles, hairdryers, bedside telephones and internet access.There is ample overhead lighting with additional bedside lighting. Task lighting is available on request.Storage is available at a range of heights and furniture handles are easy to grip.The doors to the bedrooms all have lever action handles and open inwards
All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with either a shower and/or bath. The floors of the bedrooms are carpeted and the floors of the bathrooms are tiled and bathmats are provided to help prevent slips. There are no grab rails available in the bathrooms other than the specially adapted room.Fire evacuation procedures are clearly displayed on the back of each bedroom door.
There is no lift available. Access to all floors is via a carpeted staircase with a handrail on one side (right going up, left coming down) Access to the first floor is via fifteen steps.
The restaurant is on the ground floor. There is a mezzanine section to the restaurant, however so please specify your requirements when booking a table.
Breakfast is served in the restaurant. Breakfast can be served in your bedroom for those who cannot access the restaurant area.
Waiter service is always available.
Special diets can be catered for by prior arrangement. A large print menu can be provided by prior arrangement.
Customer toilets are situated at ground floor level in the restaurant, function room and bar area. A disabled access toilet is available in the bar area.
The Bar is on the ground floor.
The function room is on the ground floor accessible from outside by no steps or from the hotel by one step.
